Pacific Seaflight offers USCG certified training programs for the following certificates and ratings:

Captain
International Maritime Organization (IMO) and United States Coast Guard (USCG) requires that anyone in command of a "high speed vessel" (operating above 30 kn must obtain a type rating for their Master Certificate. The training curriculum does not address any navigation or seamanship topics, rather it is a vessel specific operations training. The USCG issued type rating issued upon course completion is vessel specific and allows the Master to operate only the specific high speed vessel for which the rating was issued. Pacific Seaflight operates the only HW-20 training program pending USCG approval.
